Sterling Community Center's Hearing Voices Group offers a supportive environment for individuals who hear voices, see visions, or have other unusual or extreme experiences and/or beliefs, as defined by each group member. Our group is typically co-facilitated; the lead facilitator identifies as a voice hearer, while co-facilitators have been trained as Hearing Voices facilitators and have their own relevant lived experience.
Currently, our group is only open to Sterling Community Center members and other recipients of services at MHA of Westchester. Anyone who is interested in attending groups is welcome to join Sterling Community Center and should be aware that participation in the Hearing Voices group is not tracked or documented by staff.
