Benefits & Compensation Coordination
Services and programs are provided in the lower Hudson Valley of New York State. They include education and training, advocacy, vocational services, service coordination, and community independence training. We provide services under OPWDD’s Home and Community Based Waiver Program, the Department of Health’s Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver Program and various programs offered through ACCES-VR. It is our goal to assist all individuals in these programs to reach their optimal growth potential.

Provide services to children and adults with developmental disabilities. Assistance for families applying for OPWDD eligibility, Medicaid and waiver services, MSC, waiver respite and community habilitation services, emergency respite support and reimbursement, socialization and skill building groups.
Residential services for people with autism and significant intellectual disabilities. Community services and resources are utilized to augment the in-house program. Referrals through State and County offices only.
The Department of Community Mental Health plans, oversees and coordinates services for individuals – and their families – with mental illness, developmental/intellectual disabilities and substance use disorders. Adult Mental Health Services

WILC provides services to all people with disabilities. Peer Advocates provide information and referral, self-advocacy training, benefits and entitlements advisement, basic counseling, and advocacy on behalf of consumers. WILC is also an Employment Network and provides vocational readiness and assistance in returning to work.
