The Theodore D. Young Community Center, component consists of outreach and advocacy, information and referral, strategies to relieve neighborhood problems through programs which foster self-sufficiency. Greenburgh/Elmsford Community Action Partnership’s primary target group has traditionally been low-income persons including women, minority populations, ex-offenders, substance abusers, displaced homemakers, dislocated workers and youth.

HASTINGS YOUTH ADVOCATE PROGRAM
Our Mission

To promote appropriate social, emotional and decision-making skills for youth
To increase alcohol and substance abuse awareness and education; including risk and protective factors, signs and symptoms of abuse
Provide alcohol/substance free community events
The Youth Advocate Program is located on the lower level of the James V. Harmon Community Center.

Program hours are Monday-Friday 9am-7pm, and Saturday from 12pm-7pm. Program hours are subject to change.

Safe Rides operates during the school calendar year and is not be available in July and August.
