Services and programs are provided in the lower Hudson Valley of New York State. They include education and training, advocacy, vocational services, service coordination, and community independence training. We provide services under OPWDD’s Home and Community Based Waiver Program, the Department of Health’s Traumatic Brain Injury Waiver Program and various programs offered through ACCES-VR. It is our goal to assist all individuals in these programs to reach their optimal growth potential.

Also available individualized creative arts/recreation therapy. The Counseling Center is an outpatient addiction treatment center for adults and adolescents seeking treatment for addiction, alcoholism, and co-occurring disorders associated with addiction and substance use. The Counseling Center at Yorktown Heights offers a state-of-the-art treatment program combining evidence-based and 12 step principles, with an intense, focused Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) option, integrated into professionally-prepared treatment plans.

WILC provides services to all people with disabilities. Peer Advocates provide information and referral, self-advocacy training, benefits and entitlements advisement, basic counseling, and advocacy on behalf of consumers. WILC is also an Employment Network and provides vocational readiness and assistance in returning to work.
