A residential school providing a comprehensive program for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and medically fragile children. A wide range of services; medical, nursing, educational, recreational, physical therapy, speech therapy, dietary, and social activities are coordinated to provide individualized treatment for each resident.
Provides foster care services, community services, a residential program, and a respite program for child welfare and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Provides runaway and homeless youth shelter, 24-hour hotline, community outreach and family support services. Provides Rockland County non-secure detention.
Volunteers of America is a national, faith-based human services organization dedicated to helping individuals and families.
Services include housing searching tool, veteran, senior, substance abuse services and independent living services.
WILC provides services to all people with disabilities. Peer Advocates provide information and referral, self-advocacy training, benefits and entitlements advisement, basic counseling, and advocacy on behalf of consumers. WILC is also an Employment Network and provides vocational readiness and assistance in returning to work.
