The Theodore D. Young Community Center, component consists of outreach and advocacy, information and referral, strategies to relieve neighborhood problems through programs which foster self-sufficiency. Greenburgh/Elmsford Community Action Partnership’s primary target group has traditionally been low-income persons including women, minority populations, ex-offenders, substance abusers, displaced homemakers, dislocated workers and youth.
The New Rochelle Community Action Program is dedicated to housing development, transitional housing, energy conservation, volunteerism, senior nutrition, childcare referral, outreach, information and referral, food bank, subcontracted services, case management and utility assistance programs.
