Yonkers Bureau Of Parks, Recreation And Conservation, City Of
Programs for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Fall, winter, and spring program consists of bowling, gym, swimming (including physically-handicapped individuals), young adults club, music and drama, arts and crafts, and training for Special Olympics. Summer program consists of a 7-seek day camp, Camp Pride.

Prevention skills training and resources including evidenced based curricula -currently offer in Parenting Wisely (also in Spanish) and Life Skills for elementary and middle school age youth; youth and /or parent presentations on prevention topics; Problem Gambling orientation for services providers. Chair the Yonkers Coalition for Youth and Yonkers Community Network. For low income Yonkers residents, information and referral to community resources including YCAP food pantry.

Recreational programming for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including swimming and safety skills, arts and crafts, physical education, daily living skills training for Special Olympics. Vacation camp program during Christmas and spring school breaks , and two weeks in August.
